Manière De Voir seeks a creative, talented, fashion-enthralled Menswear Designer with the ability to demonstrate a keen sense of taste and aesthetic judgement to join the head office team in Manchester.

Responsibilities of the Menswear Designer:

• Creating authentic designs from research and concept presentations through to the final product alongside the CEO.
• Focusing on enhancing the details, fabrication and construction of timeless silhouettes and co-ords, ensuring everything is truly original and tasteful
• Create technical drawings and specifications for production
• Manage sourcing requests to suppliers i.e., fabric and trim
• Managing the organisation of the fabric and trim library
• Partner with Production and Product Development on supplier allocation, costing obstacles, and quality adherence.
• Attend weekly fit sessions, giving input into design details whilst assisting the garment technologists with any CADs needed on the back of changes for fit comments
• Preparing monthly release CAD boards for display
• Preparing design and sign-off meeting note packs
• Undertake and compile competitor shop reports and seasonal/monthly trend reports
• Complete inspiration research

What Manière De Voir is looking for:

• A minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role
• Confident using Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign
• Completed Fashion Design qualification (degree level)
• Experience working for/with high-end tasteful retailers
• Exceptional levels of taste and aesthetic judgement
• Highly organised with good time management skills
• Willingness and flexibility to adapt ways of working to meet brand requirements and deadlines
• A confident individual with the ability to present work individually to a wider team
