People Marketing's client, a well-established fashion business in the heart of Manchester, is looking for an established product developer to work across a mix of customer developments and own-brand projects.

The Product Developer will champion new innovations and build strong relationships with customers, brand owners, buyers and manufacturers internationally.

This is an in-house role that requires 5 days on-site in Manchester.

Menswear Product Developer – The Role:

• You will work with Buyers and Brand Owners to take and develop briefs.
• You will have excellent technical knowledge and be confident in building detailed tech packs
• You will have excellent CAD and IT skills
• Understanding of garment manufacturer/construction, and ability to advise best commercial manufacturing processes.
• Work with Design and tech teams to achieve the most commercial, on-trend ranges.
• Attend fits and give supplier feedback
• Experience in a similar role is required, preferably within men's sport or streetwear.
• You will have a good understanding of various product types and fabric bases, from denim to sportswear.

Menswear Product Developer – The Person:

• Proficiency in design software such as Illustrator and Photoshop is required.
• Strong critical path management skills
• Ability to work under tight deadlines
• A keen eye for detail
• Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving  
• Permanent right to work in the UK
