People Marketing's client, a well-established fashion business in the heart of Manchester, is looking for a product developer to work across a mix of customer developments and own-brand projects – championing innovation and building strong relationships with customers, brand owners, buyers and manufacturers internationally.
This is an in-house role that requires 5 days on-site in Manchester.
Menswear Product Developer - The Role:
Work with Buyers and Brand Owners to take and develop briefs.
Work with Design and tech teams to achieve the most commercial, on-trend ranges.
Attend fits and give supplier feedback
Menswear Product Developer - The Person:
Experience in a similar role
Excellent technical knowledge and confident in building detailed tech packs
A good understanding of various product types and fabric bases, from denim to sportswear.
Understanding of garment manufacturing and construction, and the ability to advise on the best commercial manufacturing processes.
Excellent CAD and IT skills
Proficiency in design software such as Illustrator and Photoshop.
Strong critical path management skills
Ability to work under tight deadlines
A keen eye for detail
Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving
Permanent right to work in the UK.
Experience within men's sportswear or streetwear is a plus.
