Fashion Merchandise Planning Administrator Job at Hackett in London.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Hackett London team as a Merchandise Planning Administrator.

This is a varied and challenging role, with a strong admin focus. Responsibilities will include the monitoring of stock and intake to ensure the accurate and effective delivery of products to both wholesale and retail, as well as aiding the planning process.

In this role you will:

  • Assist the Planner/Assistant Planner in preparing, collating and distributing the sizing to suppliers
  • Raise purchase orders on SAP for all product group areas
  • Ensure accuracy of the delivery dates on SAP by updating on a regular basis from delivery schedules sent by suppliers & PTS requests
  • Check supplier permission to ship requests and issue them with a PTS number. Update SAP and the intake sheet accordingly
  • Ensure packing lists and invoices are received for each shipment and are forwarded to the Shipping department
  • Liaise with the warehouse & Shipping department to ensure shipments are booked in during the specified week
  • Check the GRN has been raised against the correct PO and that all intake is receipted into the business within 48 hours of arrival
  • Handle & respond in a professional and courteous way to queries from the Shipping department, the warehouse, customers & suppliers
  • Assist in the preparation of weekly analysis
  • To help the Planner/Assistant Planner set up and maintain the Letters of Credit and create the Financial documents in SAP
  • To help the Planner/Assistant Planner check through the CAD documents prior to payment

  • Have an aptitude for multi-tasking
  • Be flexible in approach to the demands of the businessBe able to work well, with accuracy, under pressure
  • Have a good eye for detail
  • Be competent on Microsoft Excel (essential)
  • Be confident in using mathematics e.g. ratios, percentages etc
  • Perfect for somone looking for his/her first step into a head office role
