The Merchandising team are a key function of our business here at Dune London and we currently have A Merchandising Admin Assistant position available on our team. 

As an Merchandising Admin Assistant/Allocator you will support the team with analytical and merchandising support, assisting with weekly sales analysis and proposing actions for the business based on the results.

This role would suit someone seeking that first step into their Merchandising career within a fast-paced, growing brand. We are looking for someone passionate about the retail and fashion industry, keen to learn and confident to make suggestions in order to make an impact quickly.

key responsibilities:

  • Accurately distribute new lines to stores using the Range Plan set by the Merchandiser
  • Accurately replenish existing lines to stores/concessions using company procedures
  • Identify issues and recommend solutions gaining approval as necessary
  • Aptitude to analyse numerical data, identifying issues and trends, interpreting results to provide sound recommendations for the business
  • Up to date knowledge of company best and worst selling lines, and how stores are performing
  • Support Merchandiser by maximising sales potential in each store through use of reports and responding to requests.
  • Conduct regular store visits, reviewing visual merchandising, management of product, branch sales data and store environment
  • Maintain a good knowledge of company performance e.g. profit, LFL figures etc
  • Understanding phasing and key calendar implications e.g. bank holidays      

Required skills:

  • Experience with Excel and a love for numbers.
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
  • A professional approach and enthusiastic attitude, keen to pursue a career in Merchandising.
  • Ability to plan and prioritise workload in order to work to strict deadlines.
  • A proactive approach to problem solving.
  • Takes responsibility and ownership for driving own development.
  • A recent degree in a merchandising/fashion related course.
