Our client is a fast paced wholesale supplier specialising in the supply of homeware products. They are looking to recruit an Office Administrator to add to their busy team.  They have a portfolio of leading product brands dealing with many key retailers across the UK and Europe.  The role will be to provide Administration support to the MD, processing sales orders, purchase order administration and helping within Accounts.
 
The Role:

  • Dealing with general day to day correspondence as required.
  • Inputting and monitoring of all orders.
  • Processing sales invoices and credit notes
  • Processing and chasing suppliers for outstanding credits.
  • Liaising with logistics and warehouse departments to provide order and despatch information.
  • Providing efficient customer support.
  • Developing effective relationships both externally and internally with overseas factories.
  • Reconciliation of supplier statements to the ledger.

 
Skills Required:

  • Excellent organisational skills and able to co-ordinate all aspects of sales support.
  • Previous experience in a support role.
  • Ability to show initiative and prioritise workloads, resolve problems and meet deadlines.
  • Numerate with good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Fully computer literate including Microsoft Office packages, Sage 50 is essential
  • Excellent telephone manner and interpersonal skills to establish positive relationships and credibility.
  • Desire to provide excellent customer service.
  • Ability to learn quickly, and embrace new information.
  • Tenacious, resilient with a ‘can do’ attitude to ensure task completion within timescale.
