Working with Womenswear & Bridal we specialise in fine fabrics such as silks, sequins & prints and offer pattern cutting services to fit the Clients needs, we have vast knowledge of garment finishes, construction and quality.

Phosphenes of London, a busy production and development studio, is looking for a Pattern Cutter to join their team in Dulwich, London, working on new developments and bespoke pieces for clients.

What Phosphenes of London is looking for:

  • A minimum of 5 years' pattern cutting experience at a relevant level.
  • Experienced in draping and fitting samples, bridal and bespoke
  • Ability to see proportion and a good fit in order to create garments to specific measurements
  • Understanding of fit and alteration patterns.
  • Knowledge of draping, fittings and alterations
  • A good eye for shape, proportion and being able to alter existing patterns
  • English-speaking
  • Tailoring experience is a plus
  • Knowledge of drapery and corsetry is a plus.
