We are looking for a freelance PR / Press Assistant to join our creative team in our east London studio.  The PR / Press Assistant will work directly with our creative team in our east London studio for our new campaign and for our upcoming LFW catwalk show. 

Activities will include:

• Talking directly with our PR agency ensuring they are up to date with all advancements and current logistics
• Ensuring (if applicable) they have a replica of every item in the new collection
• Organising full archive rail and meets for press request
• Ensuring that only applicable press are invited to the showroom and full damages forms and deposits taken signed by the stylist or stylists assistant
• Day to day running of the studio, liaising with press and creative teams on current and upcoming projects.
• Running the communications of the studio to all Press and special projects.
• Communications via teams in the studio
• Communications and organising photoshoot and film teams – Videographers, Photographers, HMUAs, Models etc
• Working on special projects/commisions
• Assisting on fittings and photoshoots
• Assisting with show preparations for fashion week (if applicable)
• Some returns and pick ups

Requirements: 

• Experience in PR and press team
• Excellent English language skills, both written and verbal
• Highly organised and enthusiastic
• Ability to use initiative
• Ability to liaise professionally to press

Beneficial:

• Experience working on high profile shows, fashion, arts, performance or similar
• CAD knowledge
• Experience working on a large scale production and venue
• A keen interest in contemporary Fashion and a good level of garment technology
