New Look is looking for a Press Assistant to join the fabulous PR team to provide overall support to the press team.  The Press Assistant will be responsible for generating press coverage across media and will be responsible for all gifting.

This role is hybrid and will be based in our Head Office.

What the Press Assistant will be doing:

• Generating coverage across the print and online media, working closely with the Press Officer.
• Working closely with the Press Officer, lead all PR gifting projects across press, influencers and celebrities
• Brief in all mailers and assist with sell-ins
• Reactive to new product, updating the team so they can maximise opportunities
• Work with the Press Officer and Buying teams to fulfil call ins and provide overall support to the Press Team
• Sample management and returns
• Work with the Press Officer to maintain and grow influencer relationships
• Attending regional store activations with Press Officer on an ADHOC / Project basis
• Assisting Press Officer on press events and celebrity activity
• Accountable for all PR reporting, including weekly coverage reports, ad hoc projects, monthly reports and event reporting

• Experience in either an in-house or agency PR role
• Excellent people skills, computer literacy, and excellent time management.
• Ability to prioritise workload and tasks
• Good telephone manner and exemplary organisational skills.
• Knowledge of the media world
• GCSEs and A levels or equivalent
