As a Product Developer you are responsible for managing the full product development process from sketch to warehouse delivery. This includes ensuring product quality, technical execution, supplier communication, and meeting deadlines in line with Daily Paper’s standards. The role acts as a bridge between design, suppliers, and production, balancing creativity, technical feasibility, and commercial viability. In this role, you will work closely with a Senior Product Developer to align on priorities, share expertise, and ensure smooth collaboration across all stages of development.

Responsibiliteis of the Product Developer:

• Manage the full product development lifecycle from sketch to final product, including prototypes, samples, and bulk production.
• Monitor production and development status, fabric bookings, and sample progress to ensure all deadlines are met.
• Collect, analyze, and maintain supplier information (prices, fabric consumption, width, MOQs, lead times).
• Create and update size specs, style specs, and grading for all styles.
• Organize and co-lead fitting sessions, review samples for fit, details, and workmanship, and ensure feedback is shared internally and externally.
• Take a proactive role in continuously improving product quality, fit, and construction.
• Advise the Design team on technical possibilities, limitations, and production risks.
• Maintain ongoing communication and follow-up with international suppliers.
• Conduct quality checks at production sites when necessary.
• Support sales preparation by ensuring accurate product data, sample presentation, labelling, and system updates.
• Maintain ERP systems, seasonal folders, and tracking lineplans to ensure transparency across teams.
• Stay up to date on market and industry developments to drive product innovation.
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with suppliers, including international travel when required.

What Daily Paper is looking for:

• A minimum of 3 years' relevant experience in product development or a similar role within the fashion industry
• Bachelor’s degree in Fashion and Management or similar
• Knowledge of garment manufacturing processes
• Knowledge of fabric, garment manufacturing processes, fitting, grading and patterns
• Experience dealing with International suppliers
• Ability to work with Excel
• Product knowledge
• Strong knowledge of the human body measurements
• Based in the Netherlands
