About: Pristine is clothing for the glamorous disenfranchised; a sexy, smart-arse girl gang with killer cleavage, silk stockings and a mouth full of bubblegum.

Founded in 2021 by Kathryn Hewitson after a decade in the studios of some of London’s most celebrated cult designers, Pristine is vintage glamour with a punk spirit; combining flawless, body-conscious fit, luxurious materials and couture detailing with a whimsical colour palette and provocative sense of humour.

Pristine is looking for an experienced freelance Product Developer to support the development of upcoming collections.

This is a hybrid working role with occasional in-studio attendance in East London.

Responsibilities of the Product Developer:

  • Work collaboratively with the designer to develop and refine technical packs for production overseas.
  • Review construction methods and advise on the most appropriate manufacturing solutions.
  • Create and maintain measurement specifications and grading where required.
  • Produce clear sample comments and fit notes following prototype reviews.
  • Review designs and identify opportunities to improve fit, construction and manufacturability.
  • Help establish development systems, templates and best practices as the brand grows.
  • Support sourcing of trims, components and specialist construction solutions where appropriate.

What Pristine is looking for:

  • Experience in taking products from concept through to production.
  • Enjoys being part of a growing independent brand and takes pride in making beautiful products that are technically exceptional.
  • Strong understanding of garment construction and manufacturing.
  • Comfortable balancing creativity with commercial production realities.
  • Able to work independently while collaborating closely with the founder.
  • Happy to explain technical decisions and share knowledge rather than simply execute tasks.

    • Structured tailoring, corsetry and traditional couture finishes.
    • Stretch, lingerie and body-conscious garments.
    • Print.
    • Bias-cut.
