Tagged Resources is looking for an organised, commercially-minded Product Developer to join a team in Leicester.

The role involves developing licensed products from initial concept through to final production, working closely with customers, licensors, suppliers and internal teams to ensure products meet the required standards, costs and deadlines.

The role of Product Developer:

• Develop new products in line with customer briefs and licensed brand guidelines.
• Liaise with suppliers and factories to obtain prices, samples and product information.
• Manage product samples, artwork and approvals with licensors and customers.
• Ensure products meet quality, safety and compliance requirements.
• Monitor product development timelines and ensure deadlines are met.
• Work with the sales team to understand customer requirements and market trends.
• Check product costs to ensure they meet target prices and profit margins.
• Maintain accurate product information, development records and critical paths.
• Resolve any issues relating to samples, approvals, costs or production.

What Tagged Resources is looking for:

• Experience in product development or a similar role
• Knowledge of licensed products and brand approvals is an advantage.
• Good communication and organisational skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Good commercial awareness and understanding of product costs.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and work to deadlines.
• Good IT skills, particularly Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
• Proactive, reliable and well organised.
• A team player with a positive attitude.
• Able to work independently and use initiative.
• Flexible and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
