About: Morning Form is a new performance apparel brand founded by Reuben Selby and Joe Wilkinson. Currently in development and yet to launch publicly, the brand is building a considered, technically rigorous foundation before entering the market.

We sit at the intersection of sport, culture and refined design — creating elevated, functional garments built with precision construction and high-quality natural and performance fabrics. Our focus is on long-term product infrastructure rather than trend-led fashion cycles.

We are currently developing our first collection and establishing the systems, manufacturer relationships and technical standards required to support scalable, production-ready execution.

Morning Form is seeking an experienced Product Developer & Pattern Cutter to take ownership of the technical development of our first collection.

This role requires a highly self-sufficient operator. We are a small founding team (Creative Director and part-time Lead Designer), so you must be confident working independently, making decisions, and driving progress without constant oversight.

The Product Developer & Pattern Cutter will be responsible for translating design direction into production-ready garments. This includes sourcing reference pieces, refining construction details, elevating design through technical solutions, and ensuring all garments are factory-ready.

Core Responsibilities of the Product Developer & Pattern Cutter:

  • Interpret design concepts and independently refine construction
  • Source and analyse reference garments to improve fit and finish
  • Create accurate first patterns (manual or digital)
  • Build detailed, professional tech packs (measurements, grading, fabric specs, trims, construction notes)
  • Communicate directly with manufacturers (UK / Europe / Asia)
  • Manage sampling timelines and revisions
  • Lead fit sessions and implement corrections
  • Maintain organised documentation and version control

What Morning Form is looking for:

  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in apparel product development and pattern cutting.
  • Experience creating professional tech packs for overseas manufacturers
  • Experience managing at least one full production cycle.
  • Confident in making technical decisions without constant guidance
  • Understands how to elevate design through precision construction
  • Ability to balance aesthetic intent with manufacturing reality
  • Highly organised and structured in their workflow

We are building long-term product infrastructure. Precision, discipline and ownership are critical.
