Caroline Charles seeks a fashion Production Assistant to support the end-to-end garment manufacturing process in Knightsbridge, London.

Key Responsibilities of the Production Assistant:

  • Critical Path Management: tracking production milestones (lab dips, raw materials, strike - offs) to meet delivery dates.
  • Supplier Liason: Communicating with factories and suppliers regarding orders and courier samples.
  • Sample Coordination: Managing, organising, and preparing garment samples for quality check and photography.
  • Administrative Duties: Processing invoices, raising purchase orders and updating product management systems
  • Quality Control: Checking raw materials upon delivery and reviewing finished garments against tech packs.
  • Common Tasks: Preparing shipping documents and organising courier shipments. Attending fittings and tracking amendments. Updating product data systems with new component information.

What Caroline Charles is looking for:

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar fashion production or product development role
  • Understanding of fabric, garment construction, and tech pack development.
  • Strong verbal and written skills for vendor communication
  • Proficient with Excel and industry-specific software.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and organisational skills to manage complex, fast- paced workflows.
