The Bianca Saunders brand is spearheaded by award-winning Designer & Creative Director Bianca Saunders.  The brand is in an exciting period of growth following international recognition since its inception in 2017, was selected by the British Fashion Council as ‘ One To Watch’ in 2018. 

Its headquarters are based in London. The studio team consists of a Studio Manager, Production Manager, Production Assistant, Ecommerce Assistant and Interns, with the capacity to take on design projects and produce two collections a year and have shown four seasons with London and Paris Fashion weeks men’s.  This role would be an excellent opportunity for a passionate individual seeking exposure of a global brand, fast paced design studio with the ability to support Bianca Saunders and the overall brand vision. 

A Production Manager is to assist and support the Creative Director, ensuring the smooth day to day running of the collection in addition to the production for the Bianca Saunders studio.  Duties relating to stakeholder engagement, vendor management, and external & internal communication.

This role is for a hands-on and proactive Production manager, who manages the entire product life cycle. Using a technical knowledge, organizational skills and problem-solving mindset to lead the Bianca Saunders production and manufacturing chain to deliver each season in line with the brand vision, market calendar and financial requirements. The Production manager needs to have good attention to detail with a luxury point-of-view and a desire to deliver exceptional results. 

Main Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Ensure order confirmations are produced and stockists are informed of delivery dates ete
  • Guide interns on tasks, offering skills in cutting out and fabric selection
  • Following the seasonal calendar, lead our production facilities in order to reach deadlines and manage the critical path
  • Oversee supplier relationships; to ensure all suppliers meet and maintain delivery, quality and margin expectations. Communicate with suppliers regularly to clarify all priorities and technical details
  • Constantly review and implement new processes and structures to improve organisation , communication and effectiveness for the brand
  • Ensure that costing and margin targets are met across each season
  • Manage all master files and systems either using Excel or Zedonk to ensure product information is accurate
  • Ongoing assessment of existing supplier base and sourcing of new suppliers that offer competitive pricing, good quality product in line with margin requirements and order volumes 
  • Set quality standards for suppliers and internal quality standards 
  • Ensure all admin, invoices & reporting are kept up to date 
  • Assist on costing on all levels from development to production 
  • Assist on fit sessions, acting as garment tech, including all PPS fits and comments, production pattern cutting
  • Manage bulk production from order placement to delivery including raw materials, trims, packaging, testing 
  • Overseeing bulk shipping and imports, liaising with local warehouse, finance, shipping brokers etc. Must have a strong understanding of shipping and logistics’ including import duties and taxes 
  • Costing and converting pricing into EUR and USD, maintaining margins across all currencies, working closely with Sales and Finance on margin and budget optimisation
  • Working with relevant teams to road-map more sustainable, ethical and socially compliant working practices
  • Assisting the product development/studio team with all aspects of toiling a collection and assisting during toile fittings
  • Assisting pattern cutters and machinists 
  • Assist producers in delivering projects to deadlines and managing budgets
  • Book & co-ordinate the crew (incl. travel and accommodation)
  • Assist with visas and permit applications
  • Ensure call sheets are completed and distributed in a timely manner
  • Complete risk assessments and ensure relevant insurance documentation is in place
  • Manage supplier communications and purchase order process 
  • Make sure all relevant project paperwork is completed and filed
  • Maintain the production calendars (electronic and board)
  • Manage deliveries, shipments and delays
  • Manage the production schedule for the factories
  • Day to day contact with mills and factories
  • Manage price and cost data, monitoring margin and fluctuation
  • Involved in budget planning and forecasts
  • Manage fit sessions and quality standards
  • Manage and report on stock levels and sales data
  • Manage third party testing for fabric bases
  • Manage deliveries, shipments and delays
  • Manage the production schedule for the Far Eastern factories
  • Any other reasonable requests made by the Creative Director



  • At least 2 years' experience in a fashion production or project management position
  • Experience managing budgets 
  • Strong Excel skills, pivot tables and v-look ups
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word
  • Proficient in Zedonk, Gmail, Excel, Google Drive
  • Ability and knowledge of using Apple software
  • Confident in managing the full critical path through to shipment
  • Passion for ethical, sustainable fashion and driven to make a difference
  • Good understanding or garment construction and quality management – ideally in Tailoring
  • Working knowledge of the entire development process
  • Analytical and organised with a desire to grow with the business. 
  • Excellent English oral and written communication skills
