BuysBest has an entry-level opening for a full-time Purchasing Assistant to join the team in Horley, Surrey.

Responsibilities of the Purchasing Assistant:

• Maintain seller level/account health on Amazon, eBay, TikTok– ensure seller level is maintained with transaction defect rate/late delivery rate/cases closed without seller resolution is kept at a healthy rate
• Monitor orders regularly to ensure correct pricing/postage rules are applied to the orders and are dispatched on time. Cancel/dispatch accordingly.
• Manage feedback and respond accordingly.
• Proactively check strong-selling items on marketplaces and trying to source them
• Processing returns from customers and to supplier (Maintaining/drawing up Excel sheets/filling out forms/chasing collections/chasing credit notes/checking credit notes for full credit)
• Keep stock levels with relevant suppliers rolling – adding new lines, proactive buying/reacting to pricing, updating old dead stock pricing/listings, regular ordering in accordance with stock levels/hot sellers, checking emails/b2b accounts for monthly/weekly deals.
• Liaise with suppliers and try to negotiate deals on new lines/deals on good items
• Creating/Booking in purchase orders depending on rate of sales
• Controlling/updating lost stock/stock amendments accurately
• Add new suppliers/build relationships with those suppliers
