A leading company supplying home textiles are currently recruiting for a Sales Support Coordinator to join their busy commercial operations team. The success of the department relies on documenting lots of key information and therefore requires someone with a keen eye for detail, excellent data entry skills, good numerical skills and the ability to prioritise own workload.  The main purpose of this role is to support the UK account managers in servicing their customers and to building relationships with colleagues and key customers. Fantastic opportunities for progression are on offer.
 
The Role:

  • Providing administrative support on a number of UK retail and mail order accounts.
  • Supporting account managers with day to day administration.
  • Setting up of new products and ongoing administration of products on various systems.
  • Collation of images from company database for display online.
  • Sales and stock reporting.
  • Stock reporting.
  • Preparing and processing credit notes.
  • Updating stock availability reports and circulating to relevant internal/external parties.
  • Preparing and sending of samples and images.
  • Data entry.
  • Attending customer meetings on and off site, as and when required.  This may include overnight stays but is minimal.
  • Assisting the credit controller with the reconciliation of invoices for payment.
  • General office administration to include answering telephones, filing, faxing, etc.
  • Dealing with general customer support queries.
  • Arranging returns for mail order customers.
  • Providing holiday cover for colleagues.

 
Skills Required:

  • Excellent computer skills especially Microsoft Excel.
  • Accurate data entry skills.
  • Good numerical skills.
  • Good communication skills (face to face, written and verbal).
  • Ability to work on own initiative, prioritise own workload and work to deadlines.
  • Clean driving licence.
