At Emma Beaumont Design we specialise in creating premium bespoke bridal gowns. We take pride in couture finishing details and innovative fashion-forward design.

We are looking for a skilled seamstress to join our creative team, whereby you will be responsible for the manufacture of our bespoke wedding gowns. You will be heavily involved in the manufacture of each gown from cutting the fabric to adding the fastening.

Therefore the candidate should be confident working with industrial sewing machine equipment, matching patterns and pattern cutting.  A high level of initiative is required to achieve the highest quality finish to all garments.

All relevant sewing experience is required for this position and the candidate must be familiar working with fine fabrics and lace.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Create dresses from flat patterns to finished garments.
  • Carry out alterations such as hems, fastenings and amending fit.
  • Pressing
  • Hand finishing
  • Ensuring the team has the available manufacturing materials and tools
