NAMED collective is an independent ethical fashion label based in East London. We’re looking for a creative individual who is truly ready to make a difference and feels they will excel in a small, fast-paced working environment alongside a dedicated team at our studio in Hackney! 

As one of the fastest-growing streetwear collectives in the UK, we are now opening up a new position of Senior Designer. The ideal candidate has exceptional creative flair and attention to detail. They are incredibly passionate about being a key part of the NAMED collective team and having a huge impact on the continued elevation of all elements of the brand vision! 

The Role:

  • Manage and coordinate a growing design team to ensure exceptional product and timely delivery is continually achieved
  • Ideate and design conceptual and groundbreaking, graphic led concepts based on a phenomenal understanding of streetwear style
  • Responsible for developing collections that align with the brand's strong design identity and vision
  • Constantly push creative boundaries (while maintaining and establishing the brand's identity), leading the team to generate innovative designs that connect with the brand's audience in new ways
  • Push design innovation, whilst accounting for factory capabilities and target price points
  • Working closely with the technical and graphic designers to ensure that they support the execution of all designs and to ensure that our manufacturing partners can produce them as intended
  • Liaising with production coordinator to ensure feedback from factories is noted and addressed in a timely manner
  • Support design and production team by maintaining and improving workflows and best practices

Must Haves:

Technical Skills:

  • High level of skill in print and graphic design
  • Excellent knowledge of garment construction, from spec’ing/measuring garments for development to full technical packs
  • Excellent sketching and CAD design skills
  • Strong knowledge of jersey washes and print techniques 
  • Strong proficiency in Adobe software including Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign
  • Ability to translate inspiration and ideas into unique product opportunities


  • 5 years' minimum design role experience
  • Jersey garment fitting experience
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, creative environment
  • A record of delivering successful projects in a timely manner

  • Highly organised, self-sufficient with an ability to prioritise and drive multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
