A fantastic opportunity for a Senior Merchandiser/ Account Manager to play a crucial role in facilitating the sales process and ensuring customer satisfaction. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with excellent communication skills and a strong commitment to providing exceptional support to the retail customers. You will be working with Buyers, building relationships and supporting the internal teams.
The role:
Supporting a major retail customer with day-to-day Product Merchandising
Ensuring that products meet delivery dates
Raising orders and notifying factories as required.
Communicating with the buying team and understanding key sample deadline and selection/ sign off dates
Working with buyers and the design team to receive design packs
To ensure availability of all required samples for buyer’s selection meetings on time
Request buyers’ feedback
To ensure a timely review of account performance
Managing the critical path and ensuring the customer is updated
Work with 3rd Party warehouse to ensure the goods are booked and delivered as per agreed dates.
Complete weekly dispatch report
Arrange and lead customer meetings.
Other duties as required.
Requirements:
Experience in a merchandising role, preferably within the wholesale or retail industry.
Dynamic, flexible working methods, adapting to the needs of the customer and business
High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and experience with CRM systems.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively interact with customers and internal stakeholders.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
Proactive and customer-focused mindset, with a commitment to delivering high-quality service.
Team player with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues across departments.
