A Senior Supply Chain Administrator is needed to join an established home textiles company who supply curtains, bedding and cushions to retailers and online stores. You will be responsible for providing administrative support to a number of major customers across a range of operational activities, to facilitate the efficient and smooth running of the accounts. The working hours are Monday to Friday 8.30 am – 5 pm. We are looking for a candidate with experience in a similar role.
 
The Role:

  • Ensure accurate and timely replies to customer queries and requests.
  • Building strong relationships through regular contact and communication.
  • Liaison with internal departments to support processes for launch of new products.
  • Internal and customer critical path maintenance to achieve ‘on time in full’ deliveries to customers.
  • Develop an understanding of the product ranges.
  • Completing customer specifications for launch of new product.
  • Submitting quotes and prices to customers.
  • Collating samples and producing presentation documents.
  • Creating design product specifications for new product introduced to range and FOB customers.
  • General administrative tasks for the Commercial Director including arranging travel and hotels.
  • Other duties as required.

 
Skills Required:

  • MUST have experience in a similar role ideally within home furnishings.
  • Be a proficient user of Microsoft Word and advanced Excel skills (Vlookups and Pivot Tables etc).
  • Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.
  • Ability to organise and prioritise effectively to efficiently manage time and meet tight deadlines.
  • Be motivated and confident.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Be able to communicate with all levels of colleagues and customer stakeholders.
