Shipping is a critical part of what we do — it’s the final step in delivering our product and experience to customers all over the world.
We’re looking for a highly organised, proactive Shipping & Logistics Assistant to support day-to-day operations across both our DTC (Not Another Bill) and B2B (Bespoke-ly) businesses in Ladbroke Grove, London.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys problem-solving, and takes ownership of getting things done.
The role of Shipping & Logistics Assistant
You’ll play a key role in ensuring shipments move efficiently from suppliers to warehouse, and from warehouse to customers globally. You’ll be working closely with the Head of Shipping & Logistics, as well as our Production, Ecommerce, and Corporate teams.
This is a hands-on role where no two days are the same — from coordinating shipments and preparing documentation, to resolving delivery issues and improving processes.
A day in the life of the Shipping & Logistics Assistant:
- Coordinate and monitor inbound and outbound shipments across UK, EU, and international destinations
- Prepare and check shipping documentation (commercial invoices, customs forms) ensuring accuracy and compliance
- Track orders through the full supply chain, identifying and resolving issues proactively
- Act as a first point of contact for shipping issues, including delays, failed deliveries, and customs holds
- Liaise with suppliers, couriers (e.g. DHL, DPD), and customers to ensure smooth delivery and clear communication
- Maintain accurate shipment data across systems (Shopify, Unleashed, courier platforms)
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies such as address issues, label errors, and stock mismatches
- Support reporting on shipping performance, delivery success rates, and cost tracking
- Work with internal teams to improve processes and increase efficiency across logistics operations
What success looks like in the role:
- Shipments are dispatched accurately and on time, with clear and compliant documentation
- Issues (delays, failed deliveries, customs holds) are identified early and resolved quickly
- Internal teams are kept informed with clear, proactive communication
- You take ownership of day-to-day shipping operations, managing multiple priorities without things slipping
- Opportunities to improve processes, reduce errors, and increase delivery success are regularly identified and acted on
What Not Another Bill is looking for:
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Proactive and solutions-focused — you don’t wait for problems to escalate
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
- Strong communication skills, both internally and externally
- Experience in logistics, operations, or administrative roles
- Familiar with courier systems, e.g. DHL, DPD, etc. and shipping processes
- Comfortable working across multiple systems, e.g. Shopify, Unleashed, Monday . com / ClickUp or similar
- Foundational knowledge of international shipping and customs processes
