London-based Shoemakers - Hello, is it you we're looking for? 
 
I Can Make Shoes, is an education platform for everything shoemaking. We sell shoemaking kits and supplies, host an online shoemaking course, and run small shoemaking workshops from our studio in London. Oh, and did I mention we've been around for over a decade, so yeah.. we're pretty good at what we do.

Our mission is to spread the craft of shoemaking far and wide. Our teaching style is aimed at beginners, so making the craft accessible to people all over the world is what we strive for.
 
We are looking for an amazing part-timer to assist our team in teaching our shoemaking workshops on both weekdays and weekends from our studio in Bethnal Green, London. On-the-job training is provided, but shoemaking experience is essential.

Whilst the initial training will be provided between Monday - Friday there may be weekend work required, so please don't apply if working weekends are off-limits for you.

We're looking for someone who has recently graduated from a shoemaking course to join our team on a part-time basis. This role is super varied, so you'll never be bored! Let's dive into what's required…

What I Can Make Shoes is looking for…

Required:

• Shoemaking experience - Good understanding of footwear construction, patternmaking and materials/ components
• Exceptionally organised and have strong communication skills
• Happy to work independently
• Friendly, positive attitude and are optimistic/not afraid of a challenge
• Understand the nuances of life in a small business and are happy to roll up your sleeves: no job is too big, or too small.
• Resourceful and willing to find creative ways to problem-solve.

Advantageous:

• Have a keen eye for footwear design, footwear trends, photography and graphics
