Parallel X Studio is looking for a freelance Social Content Lead to join the team in London.

Responsibilities of the Social Content Lead

Social Strategy:

• Plan weekly social content strategy across Instagram, TikTok and X.
• Identify relevant trends, conversations and cultural moments for the brand to participate in
• Analyse what content is performing well and adapt strategy accordingly
• Suggest new formats or content series that align with the brand

Content Planning:

• Review newly shot content and advise which assets should be used
• Build a weekly content plan based on launches, drops, and brand moments
• Identify gaps in content and suggest new ideas to shoot

Content Creation:

• Edit selected content pieces (Reels, TikToks, Stories)
• Collaborate with the founder on editing and creative decisions
• Ensure content feels native to social rather than overly produced

Shoot Direction (Social Focus):

• Attend and plan social shoot days 
• Lead ideas for social-specific content during shoots
• Suggest formats such as BTS, street interviews, product storytelling, etc.

Trend Monitoring:

• Stay deeply tapped into Gen Z and late-Millennial pop culture
• Bring forward relevant trends, memes, audio or formats weekly
• Identify opportunities for the brand to join cultural conversations

Performance Tracking:

• Track what content performs best
• Report weekly insights on what is working and why
