The Bobbi Brown UK social team are looking for a social savvy, passionate Social Media Assistant to join their team! Working closely with the Assistant Social Media Manager and Senior Social Media Manager, the SMA will play a pivotal role in executing the social media and content strategy for the UK

Key responsibilities include content creation, working with retailers, artists and key stakeholders to support key launches on social, community management, reporting and administrative duties.

Responsibilities:

Social Media:

  • Assume responsibility for community management across all brand platforms, responding to customer comments and queries in a timely manner
  • Take ownership of planning and publishing organic content on Facebook
  • Assist in the execution of live and transient content across all brand platforms, including event coverage (both in and out of office hours)
  • Proactively contribute ideas to help develop the UK social media strategy and drive community growth
  • Support the team with the execution of paid social media campaigns where required.

Content:

  • Assist in creating and co-ordinating local content for the UK market (including researching and sourcing props and locations for shoots) in order to create compelling, dynamic content for brand and retailer / partner channels
  • Work closely with SMAs (see below) and the PRO Artist team to create engaging content for both brand and their own channels, as well as drive individual channel growth
  • Source brand appropriate imagery for use across brand channels including influencer content, UGC and brand artistry

Projects, Partners & Reporting:

  • Generate ideas and support in the creation of bespoke content for retailers/partners across channels
  • Manage the in-store artist Social Media Ambassador programme, empowering the SMA community with fresh incentives and ideas, and briefing them on key launches through Workplace
  • Manage the Bobbi Brown VIP loyalty programme, communicating regularly with members, monitoring reviews and sending out product
  • Assist team and key stakeholders with reporting, collating required metrics and coverage to feed into weekly, monthly and PCA reports, working autonomously to gather required data
  • Track and monitor all retailer / partner coverage to be shared on a monthly basis with wider team

Admin & Team Support:

  • Work autonomously to carry out general administrative duties
  • Proactively manage team meetings and diaries, and stay on top of online system organisation
  • Take ownership of finance processes including setting up new vendors and raising purchase orders
  • Attend team meetings, taking notes and contributing ideas to promote new and evergreen lines across brand and retailer / partner channels
  • Take responsibility for managing the team project tracker, ensuring team actions, deadlines and tasks are updated accordingly
  • Keep abreast of new technologies and development within the social media landscape, recapping the top stories to be shared with the wider business via weekly ‘social stalker’ email

Desired Skills & Experience:

  • A solid understanding of how social media (both paid and organic) is used as an effective marketing tool to meet business objectives
  • A genuine passion for social media, content creation and story telling
  • Strong analytical skills
  • A good balance of creative flair with commercial / business acumen
  • Confident and enthusiastic in verbal communication
  • Exceptional written English and copywriting skills, able to adapt writing style in line with desired platform / audience
  • Standout organisational skills that can adapt to an agile working environment
  • Fast learner who copes well under pressured environments; diplomatic, cool under pressure and fantastic interpersonal skills
  • In-depth understanding and a passion for social media and trends in social media
  • Strong knowledge of the social media beauty landscape, including influencers and emerging micro-influencers
  • Good understanding of digital channels and the e-comm environment
  • Editing and photography skills using a digital and DSLR camera preferred
  • Experience in beauty industry and luxury brands a plus
  • Experience using Sprinklr (or similar CMS tools) a plus
