About: The Goodhood Store opened its doors on a backstreet in Hoxton, Shoreditch in September 2007. Started as a self initiated, self funded project to curate some of the finest clothing collections and objects from around the world, it's initial purpose was to support like minded brands from around the world who shared our ideas of independence, exclusivity and quality.
Shortly there after came the webstore which has grown to becoming an industry leading website and along with the store carries some of the worlds most prestigious lines. An ongoing collaboration with R. Newbold started in 2008 and reaching into it's 4th year has been an integral part of defining the Goodhood Store aesthetic; each season a capsule collection is produced offering The Goodhoods Stores own take on the effortlessly style now synonymous with the store.
Reporting to the Commercial and Trade Director and working closely cross-departmentally to ensure the delivery of all key projects and the smooth day-to-day running of Goodhood. The role is varied and requires a highly resourceful and well-organised candidate, with the ability to work well under pressure and within a team.
Key Responsibilities
Office Admin:
Maintenance and upkeep of Store and Warehouse sites
Management and recording of non-inventory items
Ensuring the company is compliant with relevant Health and Safety regulations including fire and PAT/ Electricals
Be the main point of contact for external service providers including (but not limited to) Security (ADT), IT (Hardsoft), Cleaning (DC), Internet (BT), and Licensing (TENS)
Maintenance and upkeep of company van (Full UK Driving License preferable)
Carry out and assistance with daily store deliveries, driving the van where needed
Filing and correspondence for all utilities
Ordering of sundries and non-inventory items
General office administration and upkeep (e.g., maintaining office supplies, post handling, kitchen/restock duties)
PA-style support for founders (scheduling, reminders, errands, inbox management support)
Booking travel + accommodation for team and founders
Supporting HR/admin with onboarding tasks (e.g., preparing welcome packs)
Data entry and document organisation
Helping to maintain a tidy, welcoming, and efficient workspace
Special Projects:
Working alongside the Brand Partnerships team to assist with logistical tasks, including but not limited to:
Window Installations, Set Design and Visual Merchandising logistics
F&B Stock Control
Guest List Tracking
Sound System Management
Vendor Bookings
Event Set-Up/Breakdown in partnership with the Goodhood Store team
Provide general support to the Brand Partnerships Manager
Requirements:
Self-starter, able to consistently hit deadlines and KPIs
Excellent organisational and time-management skills
Ability to build and maintain strong relationships internally and externally
Strong Excel ability
Proficient with Photoshop
Strong work ethic and highly adaptable
Full, clean UK driving license
Experience in an office admin or similar support role is not required
