Edeline Lee is taking on an apprentice Studio Assistant to join the team in east London on a 16-month term. At Edeline Lee, we are dedicated to supporting the successful applicant in laying a solid foundation for a successful career in the fashion industry.
Through hands-on experience and structured learning with the Fashion Retail Academy, the apprentice will be immersed in our vibrant world from day one, contributing to real projects that influence the future of our brand and the fashion landscape.
At Edeline Lee, the apprentice will play a key role in supporting various departments and gaining hands-on experience across the business. From production to PR, sales, and graphics, the apprentice will be involved in the daily operations that keep our brand running smoothly.
Responsibilities of the Studio Apprentice will include:
- Maintaining an organised and tidy workroom
- Managing stock and inventory,
- Performing quality control checks on garments and raw materials.
- Contribute to the creation of our collections by hand-finishing pieces with precision and care.
- Assist with logistics, including customer communications, shipping, and deliveries.
This role also offers the opportunity to work on show production tasks, giving you insight into the creative and logistical processes behind presenting a collection. The apprentice will be working in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same, developing their skills while contributing meaningfully to the success of Edeline Lee.
What you'll need:
- Not already hold a Level 4 qualification or higher in Fashion.
- A UK resident for at least three years before the start of the programme or possesses pre-settled or settled status under the EU Settlement Scheme.
We’re also looking for candidates with:
- A passion for fashion and a keen interest in the practicalities of producing luxury clothing
- Naturally curious, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with both numbers and their hands.
- An excellent eye for detail and an appreciation for luxury.
- Quick hand-stitching skills (please provide photos of your work).
- Strong time-management skills and punctuality.
- Proficiency in design software
- A disciplined, organised, and self-motivated approach to work.
