Plus Samples is looking for an organised, reliable, proactive Studio Assistant to join the team in Willesden Green, London.
Working closely with the production team, clients, suppliers, and service providers, the Studio Assistant is a varied, practical role combining administration, communication, stock control, and dispatch, providing key support to the manager in keeping the studio running smoothly.
Experience or a specialist qualification is not required. Plus Samples values responsibility, attention to detail and a willingness to learn and take on new tasks.
Studio Assistant Responsibilities
Administration & Communication:
- Handle incoming calls and emails, and welcome visitors.
- Communicate with clients, suppliers, couriers and service providers.
- Support the manager with day-to-day administration and organisation.
- Prepare delivery notes, shipping paperwork and regular reports.
Deliveries & Dispatch
- Receive and send parcels and larger deliveries.
- Check, prepare and pack finished garments for dispatch.
- Help move and organise boxes, fabric rolls and garment deliveries.
Stock & Records:
- Maintain employee time records in our electronic system and flag discrepancies.
- Carry out stocktakes of fabrics, trims, equipment and production supplies.
- Monitor stock levels and material usage.
- Arrange timely orders for materials, tools and equipment.
- Liaise with production supervisors about the team’s requirements.
Studio Organisation:
- Coordinate visits and services from mechanics, cleaners, waste collection companies and other providers.
- Help the manager organise premises checks and maintain fire safety and health and safety documentation.
- Suggest practical improvements and help put agreed changes into practice.
- The role includes regular packing, unpacking and moving of boxes, fabric rolls and finished garments alongside desk-based work.

- Fluent spoken and written English and Russian, both used in day-to-day work.
- Good organisation, punctuality and attention to detail.
- Clear communication and a helpful, professional manner.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Confidence using email and a computer, and willingness to learn our systems.
- A practical approach and readiness to take on varied tasks.
- The right to work in the UK – we cannot offer visa sponsorship.
- Experience in administration, fashion or garment production is a plus.
