We are looking for a full-time Technical Design & Studio Assistant to join the studio-based design and development team in Hackney, London.

Responsibilities of the Technical Design & Studio Assistant

Design & Product Development:

• Undertake seasonal design research as briefed
• Create detailed, accurate technical flat drawings and colour renderings
• Ensure CADs are available in the correct format for technical packs, sales & line sheets.
• Assist with tech pack creation.
• Sample management: Measure and prepare all incoming development and pre-production samples ahead of fit sessions.
• Attend all fit sessions making clear and concise notes. Add fit photos and comments to tech packs.

Production & QC:

• Prepare QC checking instructions and send to QC team ahead of each bulk delivery to the warehouse.
• Assist the production team to investigate store feedback and customer returns

Admin:

• Maintain incoming/outgoing sample inventory sheet
• Parcel management: book all outgoing parcels and create commercial invoices, packing lists, and send shipment labels to suppliers as and when required.
• Bulk production orders: Add confirmed order details to stock management system, generate barcode artwork. Check total units received against total units ordered when bulk production arrives at the warehouse.
• Maintain fabric library
• Assist with critical path management and supplier communication

• Strong technical knowledge with a passion for quality and excellence

• Proficient with Microsoft Office and Illustrator

• The right to work in the UK
