People Marketing's client, an established supplier to the UK & European High Street, is looking for a trend-driven, dynamic Women's Jerseywear Designer with a proven background in womenswear jersey design.

Based in a dynamic, creative office in central London, the Women's Jersey Designer will work within a small team on trend, mood, colour and product development, taking autonomy for their area and leading customer meetings/relationships.  

Women's Jerseywear Designer – The Role

• Collaborate within the team to create trend and mood boards, focusing on shape, colours, print, and fabric.
• Develop trend-led ranges across Ladies Fashion and Leisure Jersey.
• Source new materials in line with trends at the start and throughout the season.
• Present trends and ranges to buyers, and action any design requests.
• Produce detailed tech packs and specifications for accurate first-time samples.
• Oversee the range and customer sampling process from start to finish.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, developing both new and existing accounts.
• Coordinate with teams in China for range, sourcing, and customer development.
• Analyse catwalks and competitors to spot missed opportunities and report findings.
