About: Acquired in 1981 by The Loomba Group of Companies, TIGI is a womenswear lifestyle collection. Designed by a team of in-house designers based at the London headquarters and ethically sourced from around the world, TIGI delivers new styles each week to over 330 points of sale across the UK, Ireland and online.

Duties:

  • Lead design and buying process for TIGI
  • Manage and motivate two employees (designer and production)
  • Follow design and buying calendar and ensure all deadlines are met
  • Presentation of designs for sign off
  • Initial buying sheet and price negotiation
  • Check processes from design stage to final product
  • Communicating with China office and factories
  • Lead fit sessions
  • Plan and attend photoshoots
  • Support team members in their absence 

Candidate Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years working in womenswear design or buying or production  
  • Understanding of production and design
  • Strong organisational skills with ability to prioritise
  • Proactive with problem solving skills and strong attention to detail
  • Experience dealing with factories/suppliers
  • Proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator and Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook)
  • Willing to adapt and take on challenges
