SIJIASUDIO is an independent womenswear label known for feminine silhouettes, refined details and a modern romantic aesthetic.

We are looking for an experienced freelance fashion designer to support the development of upcoming collections from June to September.  This role is ideal for a designer with a strong fashion eye, elevated taste level, and the ability to create commercially strong products aligned with a premium womenswear market.

Key Responsibilities of the Designer:

• Support seasonal collection development from concept to final design
• Create womenswear designs aligned with the SIJIASUDIO aesthetic and customer profile
• Produce sketches, CADs and technical drawings where required
• Research trends, fabrics, trims and market opportunities
• Develop new silhouettes, detailing and commercially relevant products
• Work closely with the founder on collection direction and product strategy
• Support fittings, design revisions and ad hoc creative tasks where needed

What SIJIASUDIO is looking for:

• A minimum of 2 years' experience in fashion design
• Strong understanding of womenswear product development, silhouettes and garment construction
• Excellent taste level and strong commercial awareness
• Proficient in Adobe Illustrator / Photoshop
• Highly organised, detail-oriented and able to work independently
• Strong communication skills and proactive attitude
• You are passionate about premium fashion
• A sharp, creative eye
• Understand how to balance design vision with commercial success.
• Enjoy working in an entrepreneurial environment and contributing to the growth of an independent brand.
• Experience with luxury, premium or contemporary womenswear brands is a plus
• Mandarin Chinese language skills are a plus
