The Kript is looking for a freelance Womenswear Designer / Product Developer.

Responsibilities

General:

  • Create innovative fashion collections that align with THE KRIPT’s brand identity and market demand.
  • Collaborate with the design team to develop seasonal concepts, color palettes, and fabric selections.
  • Produce detailed technical sketches and CAD drawings for prototypes and production.
  • Conduct thorough research on fashion trends, materials, and consumer preferences.
  • Develop mood boards to represent the direction of collections, ensuring alignment with the brand’s vision.

Collaboration and Communication:

  • Work closely with the production team to ensure design feasibility and adherence to quality standards.
  • Present design concepts and collections to the team for feedback and approval.
  • Collaborate with overseas suppliers and sample machinists to bring designs to life.
  • Attend virtual design meetings, presenting ideas and working collaboratively with the marketing and production teams.

Experience / Skills:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in womenswear fashion design
  • Proficiency with Illustrator, Photoshop, and other design software.
  • CAD drawing skills 
  • Strong understanding of garment construction and technical specifications.
  • Innovative and always ahead of the trends 
  • Passion for fashion trends and a keen eye for detail.
  • Experience in prints on garments is a plus
