Sister Jane has an exciting opportunity for a strong creative who thrives working in a fast-paced environment to join the young, dynamic team, participating in and working across areas of design, production and development process of the brand. 

With demonstrable commercial awareness, an understanding of shape, colour, fabric, print and customer demand, as well as practical skills, the fashion design intern will povide support to the Design team, from initial concept to completion, on collections and smaller projects across the Sister Jane Menswear, Sister Jane, Dream Sister Jane and Ghospell ranges,

Responsibilities of the Design Intern:

• Working closely with the Design, Production and Garment Tech teams.
• Support in conducting trend research and contribute towards collection stories. 
• Identify key trends and colour stories for the season.
• Creating CADs and tech packs.
• Develop a good understanding of the Sister Jane customer and core sellers.
• Manage the office space, samples and fabrics.

What Sister Jane is looking for:

• Fashion BA Hons or equivalent qualification.
• Excellent skills in CAD and technical drawings.
• A keen eye for current trends and a strong interest in fashion.
• Eager to take on responsibilities and take initiative. 
• Strong storytelling ability.
• Self motivated with the desire to learn and develop skill set.
• Strong team working, organisation and communication skills.
• A knowledge of print design is preferred but not compulsory.
• Good knowledge of garment construction.
• An interest in Menswear design and unisex product is beneficial
