About: Katie Ko is a Womenswear Designer based in London.

Examining the intersection between fashion and art, Ko begins by printing her drawings and paintings onto fabric, which then transforms into wearable art. She pushes the boundaries of fashion, textiles and fine art; employing various techniques in each piece of work, exploring the craftsmanship and extensive details behind couture through sustainable practices.

Ko grew up in Hong Kong, moved to London in 2018 to complete a Foundation Diploma in Art and Design from London College of Fashion, graduated BA (Hons) Fashion Design at Ravensbourne University and MA Fashion at the Royal College of Art.

She has since presented her first collection at London Fashion Week S/S 2025 and displayed her “Spider Chrysanthemum Dress” at the Saatchi Gallery during the 22nd London Design Festival.

Sustainable luxury womenswear designer Katie Ko is looking for an organised, motivated full-time studio intern to work with the team on our A/W26 collection and custom pieces in our London studio.

Responsibilities of the Studio Intern will include:

  • Working closely with the creative director and lead seamstress
  • Supporting the team with research for the A/W26 collection
  • Supporting the team in completing custom orders
  • Assisting in client and collection fittings
  • Helping with simple pattern cutting, sewing toiles and embroidery

Requirements of the Studio Intern:

  • Right to work in the UK
  • Studying/graduated in a fashion design course or other related courses
  • A minimum of basic hand-sewing/embroidery skills
  • Highly motivated and eager to learn
  • Positive, self-driven attitude
  • Hardworking and diligent
  • Well-organised with excellent attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills
  • Confident in pattern cutting and sewing
