One of our favourite stores needs its next great manager.

Windsor, this one's for you. We're looking for an experienced, people-first retail manager to lead one of our gem stores. You'll be the one setting the tone, developing the team, and making sure every customer leaves with the perfect pair of socks (and a smile).

What the Store Manager will be doing:

• Leading, motivating, and coaching your team to hit individual and store sales goals
• Building a positive, high-energy environment where people actually enjoy coming to work
• Delivering consistently excellent customer service and holding the standard high
• Overseeing onboarding, training, and ongoing development of your team
• Managing schedules, rotas, and training plans
• Building customer loyalty through data capture, outreach, and follow-up
• Keeping the store looking sharp - visual merchandising and presentation on point at all times
• Analysing sales and P&L, and creating strategies to meet and exceed targets
• Keeping a close eye on store expenses and managing them with discipline
• Overseeing stock management, replenishment, inventory counts, and stockroom organisation
• Managing day-to-day operations, including opening and closing procedures

What Socktopus is looking for:

• A minimum of 2 years' experience in a retail management or supervisory role
• A proven track record of leading and developing a small team
• Strong retail knowledge across operations, visual merchandising, clienteling, and team development
• Experience in hiring, training, and getting the best out of people
• Comfortable with P&L, budgets, and using data to drive decisions
• Great communicator - written, verbal, and everything in between
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail and the ability to juggle priorities
• Comfortable with tills and basic office systems
• Flexible availability, including weekends and varied shifts
• Physically able to stand for extended periods and lift/carry up to 10kg
