The Home Production team at River Island plays a key role in providing an in-house supplier service, producing unique styles created by our Design and Buying teams.
This is achieved by working closely with Buying, Fabric, Design, Pattern Cutting and Merchandising teams.
HP is responsible for producing and delivering finished garments from concept to carrier bag, meeting the need for fast fashion by reacting quickly to current trends. The Pattern Cutter ensures samples are made in production friendly way.
The Pattern cutter works closely with the Design, Buying and Technologists in creating technically correct patterns that are 'Production friendly' as well as commercially and technically viable.
