LeQBien Couture Atelier has an exciting opportunity for a can-do Studio Assistant to work in a professional, busy Atelier Couture studio.  Working alongside ateliers in the East London workroom, this temporary in-house role requires a can-do, punctual assistant willing to learn whilst working on the Haute Couture SS27 and Ready to wear AW27-28 projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Measuring
  • Cutting delicate fabrics
  • Basic pattern cutting
  • Preparing for sampling

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience working within a fashion studio
  • Fashion graduate
  • Good machine sewing and pattern-cutting skills
  • Experience in hand-sewing
  • A minimum of basic knowledge of garment construction
  • Fluent in English
  • A can-do attitude
  • Punctual
  • Meticulous
  • Willing to take on tasks with enthusiasm
  • Thrives in a busy working environment
  • Looking to take on responsibility
  • Hard-working
  • Friendly and can-do attitude 
  • Experience in couture work is a bonus
