About: Sarah Doukas founded the agency in her home in 1987. With Richard Branson as her business partner, Sarah revolutionized the traditional modelling industry by launching the first UK agency to represent, worldwide, new faces Sarah had discovered herself and this became the hallmark of the agency. 1988 is remembered as the year Sarah changed the fashion industry when she spotted Kate Moss at JFK Airport in New York City.

Sarah & her brother, Simon Chambers, run the agency together. Their aim is to offer 360 management based on the fundamental principles of strategy, opportunity, and ownership. Over time they have diversified the business into areas such as social media representation & brand development to enable the talent to maximise their career potential. Examples include Kate Moss for Top Shop, Cara Delevingne for Mulberry & more recently Zara McDermott x Missguided.

Storm Model Management is looking for a full-time New Faces Division Women's Booker with responsibility for the development of new face models.

What the Booker will be doing:

  • Liaising with the talent, their families/guardians
  • Organising test shoots
  • Casting & catwalk training
  • Providing pastoral support to the talent
  • Researching new photographers for test shoots
  • Developing the models’ portfolios with a view to booking them with clients, in particular editorial ones

What Storm is looking for:

  • Booking experience within a model agency or a strong interest in and experience of working in fashion marketing and fashion photography
  • Excellent demonstrable knowledge of fashion clients, fashion publications, fashion photographers and stylists
  • Highly organised, self-motivated, and a strong work ethic
  • Good phone manner
  • Ability to communicate effectively and appropriately with new faces, their families, clients, etc.
