About: United Group is a leading high street fashion supplier, working with major UK and European retailers across jersey, leisurewear and licensed products. Our London office is the main design and trend office for the group.

United Clothing is a leading high street fashion supplier, working with major UK and European retailers across jersey, leisurewear and licensed products. 

We are looking for a highly creative, trend-driven Girlswear / Womenswear License Designer with strong fashion handwriting to join the team in London.

The Designer will be working across exciting licensed properties, such as KPop Demon Hunters, Disney, Warner Bros, Universal, Paramount, Music and many more, helping to create trend-led, commercial products for key retail accounts.

Please note this role is based in our London office.

What the Girlswear / Womenswear License Designer will be doing:

  • Designing licensed girlswear and womenswear jersey and leisurewear
  • Translating trends into fashion-led licensed product
  • Building strong trend boards, concepts and range direction
  • Creating graphics and product concepts that feel relevant to the girlswear and womenswear customer
  • Presenting ideas internally and to buyers
  • Working closely with the wider license design and production teams
  • Helping drive creative direction

What United Clothing is looking for:

  • Strong girlswear and/or womenswear design handwriting
  • Experience in license, graphic, jersey or related product categories
  • A strong eye for trend, colour and graphics
  • Good Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop skills
  • Confidence in presenting ideas
  • A genuine interest in pop culture, entertainment, fashion and youth culture
