La Coqueta is looking for a Social Media & Content Manager to join the team in London.

Lead La Coqueta’s brand storytelling across all content and organic social channels.  The role of Social Media & Content Manager is both strategic and creative, shaping how the brand shows up in culture, builds community, and connects emotionally with customers worldwide.  As the guardian of tone of voice and content, you will ensure La Coqueta is recognised not only for its products, but also for its distinctive point of view, digital presence, and community engagement.

Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities of the Social Media & Content Manager

Social Strategy & Brand Voice:

  • Lead the organic social media strategy across Meta, Pinterest, TikTok, and emerging platforms.
  • Define and protect La Coqueta’s brand tone of voice, ensuring consistency across all content and community touchpoints.
  • Identify key social and cultural trends, translating them into brand-relevant opportunities.
  • Partner with Marketing and Creative Director to align social storytelling with brand campaigns, launches, and seasonal initiatives.

Content Ownership & Leadership:

  • Lead creation and curation of all social-first content (TikTok/Reels, UGC, BTS, influencer integration) and ensure consistency in tone of voice and visual storytelling across brand channels.
  • Act as brand content guardian, collaborating with Marketing and eCommerce teams on campaigns, email, and digital assets to ensure alignment with La Coqueta’s look, feel, and voice.
  • Partner with the Creative Director on campaign shoots, ensuring content is optimised for social and community engagement.
  • Own brand photoshoots end-to-end:
    • Develop creative briefs and moodboards.
    • Select models and casting talent in line with brand vision.
    • Book and coordinate stylists, hair/makeup, and production support.
    • Manage shoot logistics and timelines, ensuring smooth execution.
    • Ensure content captured works across multiple formats (campaign, social, eCommerce, PR).
  • Edit and produce short-form video content (TikTok/Reels/social ads) to maximise storytelling impact.

Community Building & Engagement:

  • Actively engage with followers and manage conversations in the La Coqueta voice.
  • Cultivate and manage relationships with VIP customers, influencers, and brand advocates.
  • Grow new audiences through proactive engagement with aligned brands, communities, and interest groups.
  • Be the brand’s front line in fostering emotional connection and loyalty.

Analytics & Growth:

  • Own reporting and insights across channels: daily monitoring, weekly analysis, and monthly performance presentations.
  • Benchmark against competitors, highlight cultural/market shifts, and identify new opportunities for growth.
  • Translate analytics into actionable strategies to improve engagement, reach, and sentiment.
  • Wholesale & Partnerships Support
  • Ensure wholesale partners and collaborators receive on-brand, social-optimised content (imagery, campaign videos, line sheets).
  • Partner with PR & Marketing to maximise impact of collaborations and events through content and social storytelling.

What La Coqueta is looking for:

  • Proven experience managing organic social media channels for a premium or lifestyle brand.
  • Strong copywriting skills and ability to define and maintain a brand tone of voice.
  • Hands-on experience editing video content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and paid social campaigns.
  • Proficiency in content creation and editing software, including:
    • Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator and After Effects
    • Canva / CapCut / Final Cut Pro (for quick-turnaround social content)
    • Iconosquare (for scheduling & reporting)
  • Creative eye for photography, videography, and design.
  • Strong understanding of cultural and social trends, with the ability to translate them into brand opportunities.
  • Experience analysing social performance and presenting insights to stakeholders.
  • Comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously and working to tight deadlines
