About: The Catherine Walker & Co design atelier is based in Bury Walk, a pretty Chelsea mews where seven large studios are run on Parisian lines with separate workrooms devoted to tailoring, dressmaking and with the addition of skilled craftsmen and women employed for embroidery.

Catherine Walker & Co was founded in 1977 by the design partnership of Catherine Walker and her husband, Said Cyrus. The Company proudly maintains its position as a leading British couture house. 16 years after Catherine Walker’s death, Said Cyrus has created a new chapter in the history of the brand.

Catherine Walker & Co are excited to to be looking for a hands-on, hardworking, creative Design & Lace Intern to work with the team in Chelsea, London.

During the three-month role, the successful applicant will work various lace projects, including chantilly, french and corded lace. 

What Catherine Walker& Co are looking for:

  • Understanding of the couture fashion sector
  • Fluent English
  • Looking to take on responsibility
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Can do attitude, problem solving skills
  • Experiance in working with various lace 
  • Discretion and willingness to sign an NDA
