About: We’re a women’s fashion and lifestyle brand with a modern laidback sense of style, an easy-going attitude and a positive outlook on life that reflects our antipodean roots. hush was founded in 2003 by Mandy Watkins, an Aussie so traumatised by her first experience of a northern hemisphere winter that she started designing her own wardrobe for those long cosy nights escaping the British weather

Hush is an ambitious and distinctive fashion brand, with plans to double the business over the next few years. Founded 21 years ago, we are now established as one of the UK’s leading online fashion retailers. We employ around 140 employees across head office and retail, creating and selling a beautiful range of women’s clothing and accessories characterised by effortlessness, simplicity and a laidback sense of style. Despite the challenges to the retail industry, Hush has continued grow – and our company culture still reflects our entrepreneurial roots and relaxed aesthetic. We love hard-working and talented people with a can-do attitude and a passion for what they do.

Our Creative team brings the brand to life across every customer touchpoint, from inspiring emails and engaging social content to beautiful website experiences. We're looking for a Junior Artworker to join our Creative team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a great eye for design, a passion for digital content and a desire to learn and develop within a fast-paced fashion brand.

Working closely with the Creative team, the Junior Artworker will help deliver high-quality digital assets that are both visually compelling and true to the Hush brand.  No two days are the same, and the successful applicant will have the opportunity to work across a variety of digital channels.

Responsibilities of the Junior Artworker:

  • Creating and delivering weekly email campaigns and seasonal email templates.
  • Designing digital assets for the website, including homepage content, banners and CMS updates.
  • Editing, cropping and curating imagery for email, web and paid marketing campaigns.
  • Supporting the wider Creative team with day-to-day artwork requirements.
  • Ensuring all creative output is consistent with our brand guidelines and delivered to an exceptional standard.
  • Exploring new creative tools, technologies and AI to help improve the way we work.

  • Experience using Figma or similar interface design software.
  • Creative, organised and genuinely excited by digital design.

  • A love for working collaboratively.
  • Keen to develop skills within a creative fashion environment.
  • A solid understanding of designing for digital across desktop, mobile, email and social platforms.
  • An interest in AI and how it can support creativity and efficiency.
  • Excellent organisation skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • An interest in video editing for social content.
  • A proactive approach, a willingness to learn and confidence to contribute ideas.
  • A good understanding of current design trends and best practices.
