Designer Exchange is looking for a Senior Styling & Product Coordinator to join the team in Knightsbridge, London.
Responsibilities
Core:
Oversee daily e-commerce operations, ensuring a consistent representation of the Designer Exchange concept through styling and product coordination.
Manage and prioritise multiple styling and product coordination projects simultaneously.
Support company-wide e-commerce and creative photoshoots.
Follow Photography Studio processes to ensure seamless image asset delivery.
Clearly communicate workflow status to studio teams and relevant departments: Admin, Logistics, and Product Analyst.
Identify and resolve production challenges, including last-minute changes.
Support ongoing and temporary projects as assigned.
Mentor and train junior styling team members, ensuring they meet performance expectations.
Maintain and organise working areas and toolsets; advise on repairs, restocking, or orders needed for styling equipment.
Coordination:
Products waiting to be shot:
Keeping the rails organised (eg.: new stock, flat-lay, menswear, seasonal, etc.)
Keep separated the stock according to subcategories
Separate priority and non-priory stock.
Store stock
Ensure items needing reshooting are available and correctly located.
Pre-prepare stock aligned with weekly shooting schedules.
Ensure items needing reshooting are available and correctly located.
Move stock to and from the studio, relieving photographers of this task.
Ensure surplus stock is always available for photography needs.
Implement processes to streamline product coordination and internal communication.
Daily Product Preparation:
Detag products and refresh tags and check Entropy certificates.
Check product condition (clean, ready to shoot).
Item preparation: Steam clothing, clean and stuff handbags, clean shoes and small leather goods, polish accessories and jewellery.
Return each product to the correct section after shooting.
Verify product codes and descriptions before e-commerce shooting; report discrepancies.
Report multiple product codes to the photographers.
Report and email the following website issues:
Photography: missing images
Pricing: incorrect names and categories
Ecommerce Styling:
Dress and style garments on the mannequins.
Style products in flat-lay (clothing and scarves).
Maximise productivity with good time management to reach the KPI.
Styling for Creative Shoot Support
Assist in creative still-life studio shoots.
Responsible for selecting outfits for creative shoots in collaboration with the Marketing team.
Responsible for on-site styling during castings, fittings, and creative shoots.
Creative & Quality Control:
Support the Senior Photographer and Head of Department in QC of daily e-commerce images when needed.
Monitor images on the website for quality issues.
Maintain and update styling guidelines and design item folders in the Drive.
Stay informed on current photography trends and emerging styling technologies.
Planning & Workflow Support
Develop daily shooting plans under the supervision of the Senior photographer and the Head of Department.
Build collections and manage stock for creative photoshoots.
Collaborate with photographers, stylists, and marketing teams to achieve creative goals.
Support the Head of Department in organising daily studio workflow.
Visual Merchandising:
Develop colour palettes, item lists, and styling concepts for store displays and window installations.
Dress and style mannequins in Brompton Road store during hours determined by the needs of the company (from 7 a.m.), ensuring brand consistency and campaign alignment.
Pick up items and bring them to the Brompton store manager for transfer out the store
Bring items to Logistics to transfer in the studio
Create list of items and share it with Logistics for transfers from the Studio to the Store
Provide guidance and support to store teams on visual merchandising standards.
