About: Lone Design Club is building the future of physical retail, connecting the world's most exciting emerging brands with the spaces, opportunities and infrastructure they need to grow offline.

Since 2018, we've built a community of over 35,000 fashion, beauty, lifestyle and home brands and helped thousands enter physical retail through pop-ups, partnerships and activations.

Today, our business has two connected sides:

Lone Design Club & Clubhouse - our brand ecosystem and platform connecting emerging brands with physical retail opportunities, resources, events and industry access.

Revolving Spaces - our platform for landlords and retail destinations, helping them attract brands, activate vacant space and build scalable flexible retail programmes.

We work with leading retail destinations including Ingka Centres (IKEA), Value Retail, Pradera, Hammerson and The Crown Estate.

LDC (Lone Design Club) has an exciting, hands-on, broad-ranging opening for a Marketing & Community Manager to join the team in London.

In a role offering real ownership, the successful applicant will set and execute the marketing plan across LDC and Revolving Spaces, spanning brand and landlord acquisition, Clubhouse, organic and paid marketing, CRM, websites, social, content, events, partnerships and thought leadership.  This is a lean, entrepreneurial team: the Marketing & Community Manager will own the plan, but they'll also roll up their sleeves and make it happen – suitable applicants will know how to think strategically and execute.

The brand side – grow the pipeline of exciting emerging brands entering the LDC ecosystem and build Clubhouse into an active, valuable community.

The landlord side – work closely with sales to generate and nurture qualified leads for Revolving Spaces through targeted campaigns, content, events and partnerships.

The Marketing & Community Manager will also manage the Fashion Content & Social Executive, setting the direction and ensuring LDC's channels are culturally relevant, commercially effective and at the forefront of emerging fashion and retail.

What the Marketing & Community Manager will own…

Marketing & Growth:

  • Own and execute the marketing strategy and calendar across LDC and Revolving Spaces.
  • Build distinct acquisition funnels for our two core audiences: brands and landlords.
  • Translate commercial priorities into campaigns that generate sign-ups, engagement, qualified leads and pipeline.
  • Own organic and paid acquisition across relevant channels, including campaign planning, targeting, budgets, testing and optimisation.
  • Set KPIs and track performance across acquisition, engagement, conversion and lead generation.
  • Identify and test new channels and opportunities for growth.

Brand Acquisition, Clubhouse & Community:

  • Own marketing-led brand acquisition, growing the quality and volume of brands entering the LDC ecosystem.
  • Own the growth and marketing strategy for Clubhouse, driving sign-ups, activation, engagement and repeat usage.
  • Manage Clubhouse updates, content, opportunities and communications, ensuring the platform remains relevant and valuable to brands.
  • Build CRM and email journeys that nurture brands from discovery through to active participation and commercial opportunities.
  • Develop campaigns, partnerships and initiatives that give brands genuine reasons to join, engage and return.
  • Work closely with brand sales to understand priority categories and pipeline gaps and build targeted acquisition campaigns around them.
  • Build LDC into a community ambitious emerging brands genuinely want to be part of.

Revolving Spaces & Landlord Lead Generation:

  • Own marketing for Revolving Spaces, building awareness and generating qualified landlord and property leads.
  • Work closely with the landlord sales team to identify target prospects and create campaigns that support pipeline.
  • Develop organic and paid B2B campaigns across LinkedIn, email and other relevant channels.
  • Turn our results, data and industry knowledge into compelling case studies, insights, reports and thought leadership.
  • Build nurture journeys that move prospects from awareness to qualified sales conversations.
  • Track marketing-generated leads through the funnel and understand what's contributing to pipeline and conversion.

Websites, Content & Social:

  • Own the marketing management of the LDC and Revolving Spaces websites, keeping content, opportunities, messaging and case studies current.
  • Continually improve website journeys and calls to action to increase brand sign-ups and landlord enquiries.
  • Create and update campaign and landing pages, working with our tech team on larger developments.
  • Manage our Fashion Content & Social Executive, setting the strategy, priorities and creative direction across Instagram, TikTok and LinkedIn.
  • Ensure LDC's content feels current, premium and genuinely connected to emerging fashion, luxury, culture and physical retail.
  • Use performance data to continually improve our content and channel strategy.

Events, Partnerships & CRM:

  • Develop and deliver events that acquire new brands, engage our existing community and build relationships with prospective landlord partners.
  • Build partnerships with relevant brands, organisations and communities that expand LDC's reach.
  • Own CRM and marketing communications across brand and landlord audiences.
  • Segment and nurture audiences with relevant campaigns rather than one-size-fits-all communications.
  • Work closely with sales to ensure marketing activity translates into qualified opportunities and commercial conversations.
  • Support major launches, partnerships and retail openings with joined-up campaigns across our channels.

What LDC is looking for:

  • A minimum of 3 years' marketing experience in fashion, luxury, beauty, retail, marketplaces, membership/community businesses or another culturally relevant growth business.
  • Commercially minded – an understanding that marketing should ultimately create growth — new brands, active community members, landlord leads and commercial opportunities.
  • An understanding of acquisition – experience working across organic and paid channels and understanding how to move audiences from awareness through to conversion.
  • Exceptional taste and cultural awareness – genuinely immersed in fashion, luxury, emerging brands and contemporary culture and understand what feels current versus generic or corporate.
  • Understanding of community, knowing how to create genuine value and give people reasons to participate, engage and return.
  • Strategic and hands-on, you can build the marketing plan, but equally comfortable writing the email, launching the campaign, updating the website or delivering an event.
  • Data-aware – you want to understand what is driving traffic, sign-ups, leads and conversion and use that information to make better decisions.
  • An excellent communicator – ability to move between engaging brand-facing communications and credible B2B messaging for landlords and property businesses.
  • Manage creative talent – able to give a social/content specialist strong direction and feedback while maintaining a high creative standard.
  • Taking ownership – able to identify opportunities, solve problems and make things happen without waiting for someone else to create the brief.
