Olympia International is looking for a highly organised Fashion Sample & Data Assistant for a two-weekproject to help us create a complete digital and physical archive of the clothing samples held in our Camden office.
This is a practical, office-based project suited to someone interested in fashion buying, merchandising, product development, fashion operations or ecommerce. There may be opportunities for future part-time work for someone who performs exceptionally well.
What the Fashion Sample & Data Assistant will be doing:
Working with our product and brand team, you will:
Sort and organise menswear samples across several brands
Record style numbers, descriptions, colours, sizes, categories and seasons
Photograph samples clearly and consistently
Upload product information and images into our SPY product-management system
Assign and record each sample’s physical location
Identify duplicate, obsolete or unidentified samples
Flag missing information for the relevant team member
Maintain an accurate project-tracking spreadsheet
Complete a final reconciliation between the physical samples and SPY
Full guidance on our brands, systems and required archive format will be provided.
What Olympia International is looking for:
Highly organised, methodical and attentive to detail
Confident using Excel or Google Sheets
Comfortable learning new software quickly
Interested in fashion products and able to distinguish garment categories, colours and details
Comfortable photographing, handling and physically organising clothing samples
Reliable and able to work independently once trained
Available to work from our Camden office during the project
Office or fashion-industry experience is not required – we are more interested in accuracy, attitude and organisation.
