Usual Objections is looking for a super friendly, highly organised Marketing & Customer Support Assistant who can support with marketing activities and customer support.
Working closely with our founders, marketing and production teams, the successful applicant will be involved in helping our customers in-store, replying to customer messages, packing orders and supporting our marketing activities - social, email, content creation and influencer/collaborator campaign management.
We’re looking for someone who loves talking to people, making content, and is excited to be part of a growing independent brand. There will be plenty of opportunities to get stuck in and contribute to many different aspects of the business. This is a perfect role for someone interested in running and outdoor pursuits, including hiking, climbing, and swimming, looking to develop a career in fashion or retail.
This is a studio-based role in Dalston, East London, although some off-site travel may be required. Flexible working hours if needed.
Duties of the Marketing & Customer Support Assistant will include…
Content & Social:
- Identify and create engaging content (video, photo, written)
- Liaise with models and scout locations
- Edit and publish across Instagram, TikTok and other channels
Retail and Customer Support:
- Support customers in the shop
- Manage customer orders, exchanges, and returns end-to-end
- Respond to customer queries and complaints
What Usual Objections is looking for:
- Interested in running and outdoor pursuits
- Able to use a DSLR
- Experienced creating social content, either for personal or business use.
- Able to use Photoshop, Illustrator, and basic video editing software, e.g. CapCut
- Strong visual eye and understanding of brand aesthetic
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Comfortable working in a small collaborative team.
- Some experience with Shopify and/or ecommerce/POS software is a plus
