We are looking for an Assistant Store Manager with a vibrant and independent spirit, a brand ambassador who will have overall responsibility for the sales of our Soho or Covent Garden shop. You will drive, with strategic vision to achieve and exceed set financial targets whilst providing an outstanding customer-service experience. As a natural leader you will ensure the development of all staff, guarantee the warm welcome of clients and ensure sales, whilst maintaining operational excellence. As our Sales Assistant, you are responsible for implementing the brands concept and making sure standards are met, with a contagious enthusiasm for EMIN + PAUL.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate daily customer service operations (e.g. sales processes, orders and payments).
  • Track the progress of weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual objectives.
  • Monitor and maintain store inventory.
  • Evaluate employee performance and identify hiring and training needs.
  • Supervise and motivate staff to perform their best.
  • Coach and support new and existing Sales Associates.
  • Monitor retail operating costs, budgets and resources.
  • Suggest sales training programs and techniques.
  • Communicate with clients and evaluate their needs.
  • Analyze consumer behavior and adjust product positioning.
  • Handle complaints from customers.
  • Research emerging products and use information to update the store’s merchandise.
  • Create reports, analyze and interpret retail data, like revenues, expenses and competition.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure the store is functionable and presentable.
  • Make sure all employees adhere to company’s policies and guidelines.
  • Act as our store’s representative and set an example for our staff.

Requirements:

  • Experience in the fashion retail industry or similar.
  • Excellent time management and planning skills.
  • Proven track record of driving sales and achieving store targets.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • High-level interest in the EMIN + PAUL brand; passion for style and fashion and retail in general.
  • Highly self-motivated & enthusiastic; ability to lead a team and motivate.
  • Displays initiative and is creative.
  • Flexible and adaptable.
