Glassworks is looking for a positive, energetic Supervisor with a demonstrable track record of hitting and exceeding retail KPIs to join the team in Brighton.

This role is perfect for someone with a strong natural sales ability, driven to succeed in retail management, and who enjoys an environment where no two days are the same.

What the Supervisor will be doing every day:

• Help the manager lead a team of full-time and part-time sales assistants.
• Supporting the manaager with managing the team, store operations (including visual merchandising) and store environment to achieve sales, service, organisation, customer satisfaction and profitability goals and maintain operational standards
• Working to develop team members by communicating and delivering positive recognition as well as performance management and corrective action as needed
• Supporting the manager with new staff training/onboarding processes
• Supporting the stock delivery, stock transfer and stock room maintenance processes as needed
• Supporting the manager with supplies orders, banking, and other administrative functions
• Supporting the manager and head office with in-store marketing activity and one-off projects

What Glassworks is looking for:

• A minimum of 2 years of retail sales experience
• An honest, hard-working self-starter with great organisational skills and a keen eye for detail
• A proven ability to deliver excellent customer service, natural leadership skills and a track record of hitting retail KPIs
• IT skills, including Excel, an electric POS system, and barcoding software
• Comfortable using and learning technology, and sorting out basic issues independently
