The purpose of the role is:

  • to support the overall operation of the store to guarantee productivity in set goals
  • to provide excellent customer service both in-store and online
  • to ensure store operating standards and commercial objectives are achieved
  • to devise and implement delegation, staff development and staffing goals
  • to assist with leading a team in a retail environment to success
  • to ensure goals relating to sales and buys are met weekly
  • to provide good communication with all Designer Exchange stores and staff
  • to authenticate and price stock along with management
  • to perform general management duties such as opening, closing and banking 
  • to hire and train new members of staff and develop existing staff 

 
Candidates should be experienced in:

  • leading teams in excess of 5 in a retail environment.
  • their ability to use a till system, Gmail, Google drive & Google sites
  • their ability to lead, motivate, train and develop a team through management.
  • ambition to drive initiatives and change to achieve company targets.
  • paying attention to detail and accuracy
  • strong numerical and verbal reasoning skills.
  • an ability to take constructive criticism and learn from it.
  • their passion for the products that we buy, sell and exchange.
  • their ability to work with all levels of management to achieve success.

The ideal candidate will understand our company ethos and have a background in authentication and pricing of designer items - however training will be provided.
